In class this past week we read "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss. We read how there used to be Truffula Trees, Brown Bar-ba-loots, and a lot of wildlife all over the land. It was sad when their home got destroyed because the Once-ler wanted more Thneeds! There was only pollution left over after all the trees were cut down. The animals had no other choice but to leave. I want to focus on the end of the book when the Once-ler says, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot nothing is going to get better, it's not." Keeping our environment clean is very important. Imagine what our home would look like if we didn't take care of our Earth!
Please click on the following link, read the list of what you can do to help the Earth, and then answer the questions:

Do you think we have problems with pollution where we live?
What can you do from the list to help our environment become a better place?
What can you tell your friends and family to get them to think about keeping our Earth clean?
